摘要: An outer package material for power storage devices, the outer package material being composed of a multilayer body which sequentially comprises at least a base material layer, a barrier layer and a thermally fusible resin layer in this order, wherein: the barrier layer contains an aluminum alloy foil that has a composition containing 0.2% by mass to 2.0% by mass of Fe and 0.1% by mass to 5.0% by mass of Mg; and with respect to this aluminum alloy foil, the ratio of the length L 1 of a high angle grain boundary to the length L2 of a low angle grain boundary per unit area as determined by a back scattering electron diffraction method satisfies the relational expression L1/L2 > 3.0.

In the aluminum alloy foil, Mn is desirably 0.1 mass% or less in the inevitable impurities, and preferably, the tensile strength is 180 MPa or more, the elongation is 15% or more, and the average crystal grain diameter is 25 µm or less.

摘要: This power storage device comprises an electrode body and an exterior body. The exterior body seals the electrode body. The exterior body is configured from a film-like exterior member. The exterior body includes a first sealed part sealed by joining surfaces which face each other in a state of being wound around the electrode body. The area of a first surface is larger than the area of a second surface. The first sealed part does not overlap the first surface in a plan view. The exterior body is configured from a laminate comprising at least a base material layer, a barrier layer, and a heat-fusible resin layer in the stated order. The barrier layer includes an aluminum alloy foil satisfying a composition of 0.2-2.0 mass% of Fe, and 0.1-5.0 mass% of Mg.
