摘要: An igniter assembly having excellent moisture proof is provided. A cylindrical protruding portion 24 and a cylindrical stepped portion 25 are arranged in the metal collar 20. Shrinkage of a resin 30 after injection-molding produces a gap in an interface 50 but, to the contrary, in an interface 51, it presses the cylindrical stepped portion 25 and does not produce a gap. Thereby, since production of a continuous gap is prevented, entry of moisture is prevented.

摘要: The present invention provides an igniter for an inflator in which a heat generating body generating heat with an ignition current is not damaged, the heat generating body securely contacts a pyrotechnic material and further, a manufacturing process can be facilitated, and a method of manufacturing the same. The method of manufacturing an igniter for an inflator including a step of producing a pyrotechnic material slurry including a fuel component and an oxidizing agent component dispersed in a solvent, a step of dropping the pyrotechnic material slurry on a heat generating body of a header portion formed in a plate shape, which generates heat with an ignition current and a step of drying the dropped pyrotechnic material slurry.

摘要: A low-cost and easy-to-assemble gas generator. A cup body (20) in which a gas-producing agent (24) is filled and an igniter collar (14) for holding an igniter body (12) are brought into contact with each other at a flange portion (20a) and an upper flat peripheral edge (15a). Further, the cup body (20) and the igniter collar (14) are joined by crimping a crimp case (30) at an upper end-side bend portion (31) of the case and by crimping the crimp case (30) at a lower end-side bend portion (32) to a lower flat peripheral edge (15b) of the igniter collar (14). The gas producer is suitable for a gas generator for a pretensioner.
