摘要: The present invention provides an A-B block copolymer that enables preparation of a polymer emulsion useful as a binder component for an aqueous inkjet ink that is excellent in inkjet printability and is capable of forming a printed film excellent in durability, such as adhesiveness and rub resistance, on a substrate to be printed, such as a polyolefin-based plastic film. The block copolymer is an A-B block copolymer satisfying the following requirements (1-1) to (1-3). (1-1) Containing 90% by mass or more of a constituent unit derived from a methacrylate-based monomer or the like. (1-2) The chain A has a constituent unit (A-i) derived from methyl methacrylate or the like and a constituent unit (A-ii) derived from 2-ethylhexyl methacrylate or the like. (1-3) The chain B has a constituent unit (B) derived from methacrylic acid, a constituent unit (B-i) derived from methyl methacrylate or the like, and a constituent unit (B-ii) derived from 2-ethylhexyl methacrylate or the like.

摘要: There is provided a carbon material dispersion in which a carbon material containing a carbon nanotube is dispersed favorably without substantially producing a coarse aggregate irrespective of liquid compositions and dispersion methods, the carbon material dispersion excellent in viscosity stability. The carbon material dispersion excluding one that contains a volatile salt contains: a carbon material containing a carbon nanotube; a liquid medium; and a dispersant. The content of the dispersant in terms of solid content based on 100 parts by mass of the carbon material is 204 parts by mass or less, and when a dilute dispersion is obtained by diluting the carbon material dispersion with a diluent comprising the liquid medium such that absorbance at a wavelength WM, which is a median value of an arbitrary wavelength WL within a range of 350 to 550 nm and an arbitrary wavelength WH within a range of 650 to 850 nm, is 1.8±0.02, a ratio of absorbance AL at the wavelength WL to absorbance AH at the wavelength WH, (AL/AH), is 1.60 or more for the dilute dispersion.

摘要: The present invention provides an environmentally friendly pigment dispersant composition that can be produced relatively easily. In this pigment dispersant composition, the content of a volatile component is significantly reduced even though the pigment dispersant composition contains a pigment dispersant mainly containing a constituent unit derived from a vinyl-based monomer, and a pigment dispersion and an ink which are excellent in pigment dispersability can be prepared using this pigment dispersant composition. This pigment dispersant composition contains a polyglycol component and a polymer component having a constituent unit (1) derived from a macromonomer represented by formula (1), wherein R represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, R 1 represents CH 2 CH 2 or CH 2 CH 2 OCH 2 CH 2 , and m + n = 20 to 100, and a constituent unit (2) derived from a functional group-containing vinyl-based monomer, wherein the polyglycol component is a polyalkylene glycol or the like, and a content of an organic compound having a boiling point of 250°C or lower is 1% by mass or less.
