    摘要： There is described a vehicle timing control system having a tensioning device for tightening a toothed belt having two annular retaining flanges. The toothed belt (11) has a body (12) made of elastomeric material having two faces (14), two respective sides (16), and toothing defined by a number of teeth (15) extending integrally from one of the faces (14) of the body. The sides (16) of the toothed belt (11) are treated with a lubricant (18), preferably comprising a fluorinated polymer; and the toothed belt (11) treated in accordance with the present invention has a low noise level produced by the tensioning device.

    摘要： A toothed belt (1) comprising a body (2) made of elastomeric material, embedded in which is a plurality of longitudinal filiform resistant inserts (3), and comprising a toothging (4) coated with a coating fabric (5); on top of the coating fabric (5) a resistant layer (8) is made to adhere, which increases the resistance to wear of the toothed belt and which comprises a fluorine-based plastomer with elastomeric material added, in which the plastomer is present in an amount greater than that of the elastomeric material. Preferably, the plastomer is polytetrafluoroethylene, and the elastomeric material comprises HNBR. Advantageously, the resistant layer (8) has a thickness of between 0.01 and 1.5 mm, and between the coating fabric (5) and the resistant layer (8) is set an adhesive material (9).
