The invention concerns a toothed drive belt and a process for making such belt, wherein the aforesaid process comprises at least the following steps of: - prearranging a male mould (110) equipped with a toothing; - winding or placing a sleeve, which comprises an inner layer comprising a three-dimensional fabric (40), on the male mould (110); - closing the male mould (110) by using a female mould; - injecting liquid polyurethane into the mould (110) in such a way that the liquid polyurethane penetrates the three-dimensional fabric (40), shaped for or by the male mould (110), to form the entire profile of the teeth of the drive belt (10); - separating the male mould from the female mould in order to extract the formed sleeve; and - cutting the sleeve to form at least one drive belt (10).

The present invention relates to a frictional power transmission belt containing an extensible layer forming a belt back surface, a compressive rubber layer formed on one surface of the extensible layer and frictionally engaging at the lateral surface thereof with pulleys, and a tension member embedded between the extensible layer and the compressive rubber layer along the belt length direction, in which a surface of at least a part of the compressive rubber layer to be in contact with pulleys is coated with a fiber/resin mixture layer that contains a resin component and heat-resistant fibers having a softening point or a melting point higher than a vulcanization temperature in a mixed state, and the heat-resistant fibers contain a fiber embedded so as to extend from the fiber/resin mixture layer to the compressive rubber layer.

The present invention pertains to a toothed belt equipped with a back section, a tooth section, and core wires embedded in the back section. The back section and the tooth section include a urethane resin composition, and the core wires are twisted cords comprising a group of glass fiber filaments, or are twisted cords comprising a group of polyarylate fiber filaments. When the core wires are twisted cords comprising a group of glass fiber filaments, the pitch of the tooth section is 0.45-0.60 mm, the diameter of the glass fiber filaments is 6-9 microns, and the wire diameter of the core wires is 0.14-0.20 mm. When the core wires are twisted cords comprising a group of polyarylate fiber filaments, the pitch of the tooth section is 0.45-0.71 mm, and the wire diameter of the core wires is 0.14-0.28 mm.

It is an object to improve the anti-fraying properties of rubber-reinforcing cords without significant reduction in productivity. The present invention provides a water-based treatment agent for forming a rubber-reinforcing cord having a coating. The water-based treatment agent includes a rubber latex, a crosslinking agent, and a filler. A content of the crosslinking agent is 50 parts by mass or more and 150 parts by mass or less per 100 parts by mass of solids contained in the rubber latex, and a content of the filler is more than 50 parts by mass and 80 parts by mass or less per 100 parts by mass of the solids contained in the rubber latex.
