摘要： The present invention is concerned with diagnostic means and methods for determining the metastasising potential of solid tumors. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method of diagnosing whether a solid tumor in a subject has metastasising potential comprising the steps of determining in a sample of a subject suspected to suffer from a solid tumor the expression levels of the marker genes GPR109B, DHRS9, and ERRFI-1 and of a reference gene, calculating at least one variable from one or more of said marker genes and a reference gene and comparing the variable to a reference variable whereby it is to be diagnosed whether the solid tumor has metastasising potential. Moreover, the present invention relates to a method of determining whether a therapy against a solid tumor having metastasising potential is successful. Further contemplated are a solid support, diagnostic device and a kit for carrying out the aforementioned methods.
