Poly-V belt (13), particularly for driving accessories (7, 10) of an internal combustion engine (2), comprising a cord (23) realised from a yarn (24) composed of a plurality of filaments (25) by means of a first twisting in which are formed at least two plied yarns (26) each composed of at least one yarn (24) and a second twisting in which the plied yarns (26) are twisted together to form the cord (23); the first twisting and the second twisting are made in opposite directions, and the numbers of twists per metre of the two twisting steps are calculated so that in the finished cord (23) the filaments (25) form with the axis (A) of the cord (23) an angle smaller than 3.3°.
