Further, the cases 310 are supported on the lower rails 11 via balls 340 which are rolling members. This structure stabilizes a slide operation of the cases 310 themselves and can further improve the effects of reducing abnormal sound and so on.

The relative motion of the cylinder 2 and the piston 3 produces tension, and in the line-shaped member 32, as an amplitude is smaller, its contiguously wound portions each try to deform so as to twist along a circumferential direction of the line-shaped member 32 itself, and as the amplitude is larger, the contiguously wound portions more tend to try to deform as a unit. When the amplitude is small, frictional resistance decreases, resulting in the smooth motion of the piston 3, and appropriate damping force is obtained due to the viscous damping force of the viscous fluid. When the amplitude is large, as a result of the increased tendency that the contiguously wound portions of the line-shaped member 32 try to deform as a unit, friction damping force acts relatively greatly.

According to the method of the present invention for plotting a fluctuation waveform as coordinate points on a four-quadrant coordinate system on the basis of the predetermined standard, change in the fluctuation waveform of the ultra-low-frequency band can be expanded or highlighted and thus perceived, and therefore the present invention is adapted for more accurately perceiving change in a person's status.

Since the natural frequency in the right-and-left direction is lower than the natural frequency in the front-and-rear direction, the structure can easily deflect in the right-and-left direction. Therefore, since an impact load larger than a predetermined level inputted in the front-and-rear direction due to front-and-rear/pitching vibration or a rear collision and the like becomes a force of deflecting the back frame in the right-and-left direction, the vibration/impact energy is consumed by that, and moreover, rearward displacement of the back frame consumes vibration/impact energy. Thus, absorbing performances of the vibration/impact energy are higher than before.

Therefore, a position of a hip point of a person seated on a seat supported by the seat support part 240 is displaced in an approximately vertical trajectory, which reduces forward and backward swinging and stabilizes a seating posture, resulting in good ride comfort, as compared with a case of one link mechanism.
