摘要: A positive displacement sorter includes a plurality of interconnected parallel slats defining an endless web that travels in a longitudinal direction. The web has upper and lower runs and transition sections between the runs. An upper surface of the upper run of the web defining an article-conveying surface. A plurality of pusher shoes travels along the slats in order to divert articles on the conveying surface. Each shoe has a diverting member extending below the conveying surface. A plurality of diverting rails below the conveying surface may engage the diverting member to cause the associated shoe to travel to divert an article. A plurality of diverters diverts a diverting member from a non-diverting path extending longitudinally along the sorter to one of the diverting rails in a diverting state. A propulsion system propels the web and includes at least one drive assembly engaging a surface of a run.

摘要: A roller shaft mount or support (20) secures a shaft (16b) of a conveyor roller (12) at and between opposite sidewalls (14) of a conveyor (10). The shaft support includes a mounting portion (22) mountable to a sidewall (14) of the conveyor and a clamping portion (24). The clamping portion (24) is movably attached to the mounting portion (22) and movable relative thereto. The shaft support (20) receives a roller shaft (16b) at least partially therethrough. The clamping portion (24) is movable relative to the mounting portion (22) so as to clamp the roller shaft (16b) within the shaft support (20) in response to movement of the clamping portion (24) relative to the mounting portion (22). The clamping portion (24) may move along a ramped surface (34a) toward and into engagement with the shaft (16b) of the roller (12) in response to adjustment of a fastener (26) to clamp the roller shaft (16b) within the shaft support (20).
