    摘要： A tissue management system comprises a tissue tray (1330) configured to collect tissue samples and including a grip (1332) defining an opening (1333), wherein the tissue tray includes a plurality of strips, wherein the tissue tray (1330) is configured to flex to thereby transition the plurality of strips between an arcuate configuration and a flat configuration, and a tray container (2400) having a protrusion (2416). The tray container (2400) is configured to receive the tissue tray (1330) when the plurality of strips arc in the fiat configuration, the protrusion (2416) being configured for receipt into the opening (1333) of the tissue tray to maintain the position of the tissue tray within the tray container.

    摘要： A biopsy device comprises a body, a needle, a cutter, and a valve assembly. The needle extends distally relative to the body. The needle defines a first lumen and a second lumen. The first and second lumens extend along a first and second longitudinal axis, respectively. The needle includes an opening fluidly coupling the first and second lumens. The cutter is translatable relative to the needle. The valve assembly comprises a vent opening and a spool body. The spool body is movable relative to the vent opening between a first and second position. The second lumen is coupled to the vent opening when the spool body is in the first position. The second lumen is sealed relative to the vent opening when the spool body is in the second position. The spool body is configured to transition between the first and second position by translation of the cutter.

    摘要： A biopsy device may comprise a probe assembly that has a needle assembly extending distally from the probe assembly. The needle assembly has a needle portion and blade assembly. The blade assembly comprises a blade and a multi-member coupling assembly. The multi-member coupling assembly is configured to couple to the blade and to the needle portion to attach the blade to the needle portion. In one configuration the multi-member coupling assembly comprises two coupling members configure to couple to the blade. The blade may be a flat blade that has a retention channel formed therein, wherein the two coupling members may couple to the blade at the retention channel. The needle portion may comprise a needle and a cutter receiving tube. The needle may be an ovular cross-sectioned tube having a cut-out portion into which a circular cross-sectioned cutter receiving tube may be inserted and coupled thereto.
