摘要： The invention relates to a sliding ring of a slide ring sealing arrangement, comprising a base body (10, 11) made of a carbide material. A wear-resistant coating (8, 9), made of a diamond material, is embodied on one of the front surfaces of the base body, said diamond material having a sliding surface (6, 7). At least the surface areas of the base body (10, 11), which are exposed to the medium which is to be sealed during operation, are hermetically sealed in one layer (8, 9, 12, 13) made of a diamond material having a layer thickness and/or configuration creating a layer that is impermeable to fluid. The properties of the diamond layer and/or the diamond material on the areas of the base body, which do not correspond to the sliding surface (6, 7), can be the same or different on the sliding surface side of the diamond layer (8, 9).
