摘要： The present invention relates to the use of insulin-producing cells encapsulated in silanized hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (Si-HPMC) for the treatment of type 1 diabetes. Methods and kits are also provided for restoring and/or maintaining euglycemia in type 1 diabetic patients and in type 1 prediabetic patients.
