摘要： The invention relates to a dipping-treatment installation for vehicle bodies, comprising at least one dipping tank (38, 40, 42) that can be filled with a treatment liquid (F) into which the vehicle bodies (10) to be treated can be dipped. A conveyor system (16) moves the vehicle bodies (10) to be treated to the dipping tank (38, 40, 42), into the dipping tank (38, 40, 42), out of the dipping tank (38, 40, 42) and away therefrom, and comprises at least one conveyor unit (18) which carries with it a securing device (24; 24, 36) allowing the vehicle body (10) to be coupled to said conveyor unit (18). The at least one conveyor unit (18) is a multi-axis conveyor robot able to be moved along a travel axis (VA) and comprising a robot arm (22) that carries said securing device (24; 24, 36). In addition, a method is disclosed for operating a dipping-treatment installation for vehicle bodies, wherein the vehicle bodies to be treated (10) are conveyed at least from a first dipping tank (38, 40, 42) to a second dipping tank (38, 40, 42) by means of at least one multi-axis conveyor robot (18) that can be moved along a travel axis (VA).
