    摘要: The present invention relates to a method for reusing water in a water bearing machine, in particular a laundry treating machine or dishwasher. Said method comprises the step of a surfactant adsorption treatment (16) of the water by at least one adsorbent medium (22) during a recirculation of the water, so that contaminants of the water are adsorbed by the at least one adsorbent medium (22). A regeneration phase is performed after a time period, in which regeneration phase the at least one adsorbent medium (22) is regenerated by a regenerant solution (34). The adsorbent medium (22) includes at least one synthetic resin of a polymeric type. Further, the present invention relates to a water bearing machine, in particular a laundry treating machine or dishwasher, comprising a recirculation circuit with a surfactant adsorption treatment device (22) for treating water by at least one adsorbent medium during a recirculation of the water, so that contaminants of the water are adsorbed by the at least one adsorbent medium, and a regeneration device (34) for regenerating the at least one adsorbent medium (22) by a regenerant solution (34) after a time period. The adsorbent medium (22) includes at least one synthetic resin of a polymeric type.
