    摘要: In order to ensure a statical cylinder-head (14) design with optimum weight characteristics, the invention proposes that the cylinder-head bolt holes (15) are located in a massive ring (13) supported by a support element (11) in the shape of a hollow cone extending from the ring to the middle of the cylinder-head plate (5), thus directing forces in a straight line in towards the centre and on to the cylinder block. A support ring (4) links the cylinder block (8) to the cylinder head (14).

    摘要: An internal combustion of high power density comprises a cooling circuit for the cylinder head (10) and cylinder in the region of the upper dead centre of the piston and cooling solely by oil injection into the cylinder in the lower region of the cylinder. The cooling circuit consists not of built-in cooling channels but of a separate component in the form of a jacket (2) which, together with the cylinder and possibly the cylinder head (10), forms the corresponding cooling chambers. To unify the thermal characteristics of the cylinder, a thermal insulation (16), which may serve at the same time as acoustic insulation, is arranged in the lower part of the cylinder.
