Abstract: The film (10) has light-controlling microstructures (12) i.e. linear structures, formed in the film and provided parallel to each other. A safety feature e.g. portrait image, is formed in the microstructures. The film is transparent in a primary view angle (14). The safety feature is designed not visible when the film is viewed in a false view angle, and visible when the film is viewed in a correct view angle (22) or a range of view angles. The correct view angle or the range of view angles is obtained, in which the film is rotated around an axis perpendicular to a surface of the film. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a document (2) a method for producing a safety feature in a light control film.
