摘要： The invention relates to a filter element having filter belts (2), folded in a zigzag, which are supported by a frame and can be mounted with this frame inside a housing. On at least two opposite frame elements (4, 5), predefined areas (6, 7) of the upper and/or lower side of the filter element (1) are folded back into the surface (10) of the filter element (1) and, at least here, are glued or welded to the filter element (1). The frame elements (4, 5) serve as a support for the filter element (1) during mounting between the housing parts (14, 15).
