摘要: There is disclosed a method (300) for inferring a predetermined time of arrival (261) of a predetermined transmitted signal on the basis of channel impulse responses, CIRs, of transmitted signals between a mobile antenna and a fixed antenna, the method comprising:
(310) intermittently obtaining a present channel impulse response condition characteristic, CIRCC (317), which is descriptive of CIRs (315) of transmitted signals associated with mobile antenna positions within a reach of the fixed antenna (140);
(380) checking whether the present CIRCC (317) fits to a predetermined present CIRCC (117, 217) with which a predetermined parametrization (233) of a neural network, or another function approximator, (131) is associated, and
(387) as longs as the check (380) reveals that (381) the present CIRCC (317) fits to the predetermined present CIRCC (117, 217), inferring (260), using the neural network or other function approximator (131), parametrized using the predetermined parametrization (233), the predetermined time of arrival (261), and
as soon as (382) the present CIRCC (317) no longer fits to the predetermined present CIRCC (117), cease (384) the use of the neural network, or other function approximator (131), parametrized using the predetermined parametrization (233), for inferring the predetermined time of arrival, and/or initiate a compensation step in which the neural network, or other function approximator (131) is analyzed and/or retrained.-

摘要: A system comprises an analyzing unit configured for receiving a sensor signal indicating a use of a tool and for analyzing the sensor signal for a sensor signal characteristic. The system comprises a database having stored thereon at least one predetermined sensor signal characteristic and an associated signal information. The system comprises a classification unit configured for determining a correspondence between the sensor signal characteristic and the predetermined sensor signal characteristic. The system comprises an interface configured for outputting, to a user, the signal information associated with the predetermined sensor signal characteristic, and for receiving an input signal indicating at least a match or a mismatch of the use of the tool with the predetermined sensor signal characteristic. The classification unit is configured for adapting the database based on the input signal for a subsequent sensor signal.

摘要: An apparatus for estimating a physical state of a movable object comprises a processor receiving or determining a probability mass function including probabilities for each of a first group of at least two movement classes, wherein the movement models of the first group being determined using sensor data from the inertial measurement unit. The processor receives at least one additional probability mass function associated with a second group of at least two movement classes, wherein the additional probability mass function has been obtained using additional information different from the sensor data. The processor combines the probability mass function and the at least one additional probability mass function to obtain a combined probability mass function over the movement classes of the first group and the second group, selects a movement class having the highest probability from the combined probability mass function, and estimates the physical state of the movable object using a movement model of the selected movement class. Each movement class is either a movement state or a movement model.
