摘要: A paper sheet stacking unit (paper sheet stacking apparatus) (54) includes a coil (70) provided in a stacking space with an axis (71) of the coil intersecting an expected stacking surface and a bottom end of the coil being in proximity to the expected stacking surface. The coil (70) spins about the coil axis, while holding a rim of an entering bill, to move the entering bill toward the expected stacking surface, and then releases the hold of the rim of the entering bill to stack the bill on the expected stacking surface. The coil (70) also presses the bills stacked on the expected stacking surface. That is, the coil (70) has both functions of guiding unit and pressing unit of bills.

摘要: In a paper sheet storing apparatus (10) housed in a paper sheet handling apparatus (1), a storage part (16) stores paper sheets. An ejection port (14) ejects a paper sheet of the paper sheets stored in the storage part (16). A first roller (17b-1) is arranged near the ejection port (14), and is rotated in a predetermined direction by transmission of rotation caused by drive of a drive shaft (17b-3) so as to send out the paper sheet stored in the storage part (16) from the ejection port (14). A driven shaft (17a-3) is rotated in the predetermined direction following the rotation of the first roller (17b-1) in the predetermined direction caused by the transmission of the driving rotation of the drive shaft (17b-3). A second roller (17b-1) is arranged in a position farther from the ejection port (14) than a position in which the first roller (17a-1) is arranged, and is rotated in the predetermined direction by transmission of rotation of the driven shaft (17a-3) in the predetermined direction so as to sequentially feed, to the first roller (17b-1), the paper sheets stored in the storage part (16) from a paper sheet positioned in a lowest layer among the paper sheets.

摘要: A transport device 100 includes a drive roller and a driven roller. The drive roller transports paper-sheets in a predetermined transport direction by rotation thereof. The driven roller rotates with rotation of the drive roller, and regardless of from which direction the paper-sheets hit a contact point with the first roller, moves in a direction diagonally forward than a vertical direction with respect to the transport direction. The transport device 100 further includes a bearing groove formed so that a shaft of the driven roller moves in a direction diagonally forward than the vertical direction with respect to the transport direction along an inclined surface.

摘要: There is provided a paper sheet stacking device which can stably store, even in the case of a top bill of stacked bills being in a state different from its original state, succeeding bills.
A conveyer belt (24) is looped on rollers placed over and at both ends of a paper sheet storage part and bill holding members (25) for holding bills (20) are fixed onto an outer surface of the conveyer belt (24) at determined interval. The bill holding members (25) themselves have grip force by which the conveyer belt (24) bends inward, and hold the bills (20) by the grip force. When the bill holding members (25) pass over the roller on a reception side, their free ends (25c) get apart from the conveyer belt (24) and the bill holding members (25) receive the bills (20). When the bill holding members (25) pass between the rollers, the bill holding members (25) grip portions near ends of the bills (20). When the bill holding members (25) pass under the roller on a release side, their free ends (25c) get apart from the conveyer belt (24). The bill holding members (25) release the bills (20), make the bills (20) fall onto stacked bills, and stack and store the bills (20).

摘要: An erroneous coin insertion preventive mechanism of a banknote handling machine prevents a user from erroneously inserting a coin (or a token) through a banknote slot of the banknote handling machine. When a coin 28 is erroneously inserted through a banknote slot 17, an erroneous coin insertion preventive mechanism 20 holds the rigid coin 28 by three points of a front end contact part 29 and a rear lower surface contact part 31 formed by a horizontal surface 26 and a conveyance path lower surface part 27, and an upper surface intermediate contact part 32 formed by a lower bent part of a descending slope surface 22 of a conveyance path upper surface part 24, thereby preventing the coin 28 from entering an inside of the device from the banknote slot 17. A gap L is provided between the conveyance path upper surface part 24 and the conveyance path lower surface part 27 so that a banknote bundle 33 of a specified number of flexible banknotes thicker than the coin 28 may pass through the gap in bent form.

摘要: There is provided a low-cost medium detector which requires no additional parts.
A reflection plate (11a) is integrally formed with a medium guide (11) placed on a side opposite a side on which a reflective photosensor (17) is placed with a conveying path of banknotes (28) between. Light emitted from a light emitting portion of the reflective photosensor (17) is reflected from the reflection plate (11a) at the time of the absence of the banknotes (28) so as not to directly return to the reflective photosensor (17). This prevents the reflective photosensor (17) from erroneously detecting the medium guide (11) at the time of the absence of media on the basis of light reflected from the medium guide (11). The medium guide (11) and the reflection plate (11a) are integrally formed. Accordingly, additional parts or additional assembly is not required and a low-cost medium detector can be realized.
