    Abstract: Embodiments of this disclosure provide a random access method and apparatus. The apparatus includes: a first transmitting unit configured to transmit a first message containing a random access preamble to a network device; and a detecting unit configured to detect downlink control information transmitted by the network device, the downlink control information being used to schedule a second message containing a random access response, cyclic redundancy check (CRC) of the downlink control information being scrambled by using an identification parameter, and a parameter used for calculating the identification parameter at least including a first index, the first index indicating a position of a slot for transmitting the random access preamble in a system frame, wherein at least two slots in the system frame have identical first index, or the number of slots having the first indices in the system frame is less than the number of slots contained in the system frame and first indices of slots having the first indices are different.

    Abstract: Embodiments of this disclosure provide a method and apparatus for transmitting uplink control information and a communication system. The method includes: a terminal equipment transmits uplink control information, the uplink control information being related to at least two TRPs. According to the embodiments of this disclosure, the uplink control information is transmitted in a manner of spatial diversity. That is, at the terminal side, the same data may reach a network side via different spatial domain paths or via different TRPs (transmission and reception points). Hence, in a case where blockage occurs in a path, other paths may still continue to operate, thereby ensuring high reliability of the uplink control information. And furthermore, as the method may make use of spatial diversity gains, the number of retransmissions of the uplink control information may be avoided or reduced, thereby lowering transmission latency of uplink data.

    Abstract: A random access method and data reception method, apparatuses thereof and communication system. The random access method includes: a terminal equipment transmits a random access preamble to a network device; and determines (considers) that a random access procedure corresponding to the random access preamble is successfully completed when the terminal equipment receives a first notification or when the terminal equipment receives a first notification and a condition of a first cell related to the random access preamble is satisfied; wherein the first notification is a notification of reception of a downlink control channel transmission and is received from a lower layer of the terminal equipment on the first cell, and/or a notification of reception of a downlink control channel transmission for response to the random access preamble and is received from the lower layer. With the embodiments of this disclosure, whether a random access procedure is successful is determined according to a relationship between the downlink control channel transmission and a cell or a random access preamble transmitted by the terminal equipment. Hence, the terminal equipment may be able to accurately transmit and receive data, thereby improving a rate of success, reducing times of retransmission, and saving energy consumption.
