    摘要: An anti-shudder tripod constant velocity universal joint (10) having an outer member (14) and an inner member (12). The outer member (14) has an internal cavity (18) having three lobes (20), each of which has a pair of face-to-face longitudinal guideways (22, 24) for a roller (26). The inner member (12) has three radially extending trunnions (32) which individually extend into a respective one of the three lobes (20). The rollers (26) are a multiple component roller having an inner race member (40) pivotably attached to each trunnion (32) by mating spherical surfaces. A roller member (52) is rotatably attached to each inner race member (40) by a plurality of roller bearings (58) disposed therebetween. The roller member (52) is free to move axially with respect to the inner race member (40) along the roller bearings (58) when the inner member (12) is angularly disposed relative to the outer member (14) to keep the rollers (26) in the guideways (22, 24). A circumferential lip (46) and a retainer ring (60) attached to the inner race member (40) captivates the roller member (56) therebetween and maintains the roller member (56) in rolling contact with the roller bearings (58).

    摘要: A clamping device (10) for clamping a hose, boot or the like (12) to a cylindrically-shaped structure (14) is disclosed. The clamping device (10) is a clamping band (20) having a body portion (28), an underlap end (34) having a pair of hooks (40) adjacent thereto, an overlap end (42) having a pair of shoulders (50) adjacent thereto for engaging the pair of hooks (40), and a clasp (52) for binding the overlapped portion of the clamping band (20) adjacent the overlap end (42). The overlap end (42) is elevated above the body portion (28) of the clamping band (20) so as to accommodate the underlap end (34) therebelow. As a result, no gap beneath the clamping band (20) is formed where the overlap end (42) extends radially outward to overlap the underlap end (34). Further, the profile of the clamping band (20) is limited to four thicknesses of the body portion (28) outside the perimeter of the hose or boot (12).
