摘要: A battery charging apparatus and a battery charging protection control method. A power adapter (100) in the battery charging apparatus carries out data communication with a charging control module (200); when the power adapter (100) determines that overvoltage and/or overcurrent occurs in the direct current output by a communication interface (10) of the power adapter (100), the power adapter (100) notifies the charging control module (200) of driving a controller (300) in an electronic device to disable a communication interface (20) of the electronic device and turns off the direct current output automatically; when the charging control module (200) determines that overvoltage and/or overcurrent occurs upon receiving output voltage and output current of the power adapter (100), the charging control module (200) notifies the power adapter (100) of turning off the direct current output and driving the controller (300) in the electronic device to disable the communication interface (20) of the electronic device. In this way, overvoltage and/or overcurrent protection of a battery (400) is achieved when overvoltage and/or overcurrent output of the communication interface (10) of the power adapter (100) occurs.

摘要: Provided are an overvoltage and overcurrent protection circuit and a mobile terminal. The overvoltage and overcurrent protection circuit comprises a first-level protection circuit and a second-level protection circuit. The first-level protection circuit comprises a power supply end, a detection end, and a low potential interface end. The power supply end and the detection end are correspondingly connected to a positive electrode and a negative electrode of an electric core separately. The low potential interface end is connected to a grounding end of a charging and discharging interface. The second-level protection circuit comprises a high potential electric core end, a low potential electric core end, and a high potential interface end. The high potential electric core end is correspondingly connected to the positive pole and the negative pole of the electric core separately. The high potential interface end is externally connected to a power supply end of the charging and discharging interface. If overcurrent or overvoltage occurs, a charging and discharging loop can be cut off by controlling an MOS transistor by the first-level protection circuit, and the charging and discharging circuit can be further protected by means of a fuse provided by the second-level protection circuit. Further, even if the MOS transistor is damaged, the electric core and the charge and discharge circuit can be still protected by means of the fuse provided by the second-level protection circuit.

摘要: A charging method and system applied to the field of mobile terminals. The charging method comprises: a cell detection circuit acquiring a voltage value of a cell and sending the acquired voltage value of the cell to a second controller; the second controller finding from a threshold value section table a current regulation command that is matched with a threshold value section in which the voltage value of the cell is located, and sending the current regulation command to a regulation circuit, wherein the threshold value section table records one or more threshold value sections and current regulation commands having a mapping relation with the threshold value sections; and the regulation circuit performing current regulation according to the current regulation command, and outputting a power signal after the current regulation. By means of the charging method, the charging current flowing into the cell can be regulated in real time, so that over-charging of the cell can be avoided; a charging circuit in a mobile terminal and a charging circuit in a charging adapter can be protected.
