Abstract: A battery-charge control device comprises an attachment-detecting unit (52), a temperature-obtaining unit (52), a voltage-obtaining unit (52), a threshold-value-determining unit (52), a determination unit (52), and a completion-processing unit (52). The threshold-value-determining unit (52) determines, based on a battery temperature obtained by the temperature-obtaining unit (52), a completion-threshold-value corresponding to the battery temperature for determining necessity of charging of a battery (30) when the attachment-detecting unit (52) detects that the battery pack (1) is attached to the battery charger (10). The determination unit (52) performs a determination of whether a voltage obtained by the voltage-obtaining unit (52) is equal to or greater than the completion-threshold-value determined by the threshold-value-determining unit (52) when the attachment-detecting unit (52) detects that the battery pack (1) is attached to the battery charger (10). The completion-processing unit (52) performs a specified battery-charge completion processing indicating unnecessity of charging of the battery (30) by the battery charger (10) when the determination unit (52) determines that the obtained voltage is equal to or greater than the completion-threshold-value.

Abstract: A power adapter, a tenninal, and a method for processing an impedance anomaly in a charging circuit. The terminal (10) forms a charging circuit with the power adapter through a charging interface (12), so as to charge a battery (11). The terminal (10) also comprises a communications unit (13), a detection unit (14), and an anomaly processing unit (15). The communications unit (13) is used for receiving voltage indication information from the power adapter when the power adapter charges the terminal, the voltage indication information indicating the output voltage of the power adapter. The detection unit (14) is used for detecting the input voltage of the power adapter. The anomaly processing unit (15) is used for determining, on the basis of any difference between input and output voltages, whether charging circuit impedance is anomalous, and for controlling the charging circuit to enter a protected state when such an anomaly is found. Detecting and processing charging circuit anomalies improves the safety of the charging process.

Abstract: The wireless power transmission is a system for providing wireless charging and/or primary power to electronic/electrical devices via microwave energy. The microwave energy is focused onto a device to be charged by a power transmitter having one or more adaptively-phased microwave array emitters. Rectennas within the device to be charged receive and rectify the microwave energy and use it for battery charging and/or for primary power. A communications channel is opened between the wireless power source and the device to be charged. The device to be charged reports to the power source via the channel a received beam signal strength at the rectennas. This information is used by the system to adjust the transmitting phases of the microwave array emitters until a maximum microwave energy is reported by the device to be charged. Backscatter is minimized by physically configuring the microwave array emitters in a substantially non-uniform, non-coplanar manner.
