摘要： A credential substrate laminator (100) comprises a frame (172), a credential substrate transport mechanism (113) and a laminating roller assembly (170). The credential substrate transport mechanism is configured to transport a credential substrate (110) along a processing path (112). The laminating roller assembly (170) comprises a movable support (183) supported by the frame, a laminating roller (160) and a lift mechanism (190). The laminating roller is attached to the movable support. The lift mechanism is attached to the frame and is configured to move the movable support and the attached laminating roller relative to the frame and the processing path. Additional embodiments are directed to a method of laminating a credential substrate using a credential substrate laminator.

摘要： An identification card printer 100 includes a card input 102, a card transport 104, a printhead 106, and a card output 108. The card transport is configured to feed a card 110 from the card input along a print path 112. The printhead is positioned below the print path and is configured to print an image on a surface 134 of the card. The card can then be discharged through the card output.
