With this construction, the mounting of the drive can be effected with a sufficient strength. Moreover, various mounting requirements can be satisfied while maintaining the same performance as conventionally obtained, and also achieving a compact and thin design, a power-saving design and a low-cost design of the drive.

    摘要: A magnetic disk assembly for a magnetic disk recording device includes a plurality of magnetic disks (1); a plurality of spacers (2) respectively disposed between adjacent magnetic disks (1) of the plurality of magnetic disks; a hub (5) including a flange (4) on which the plurality of magnetic disks (1) are placed; and a clamp ring (9) fixed onto the hub (5) to clamp the plurality of magnetic disks (1) between the clamp ring (9) and the flange (4). The hub (5) includes an upper end part (3) of an inverted frustum. The clamp ring (9) includes a disk portion (7) having a center hole (6) of an inverted frustum of which included angle is the same as that of the foregoing inverted frustum upper end part (3) of the hub (5). In addition, the clamp ring (9) includes an outer peripheral wall (8) extending downward of an outer periphery of the disk portion (7) to clamp the plurality of magnetic disk (1) between the clamp ring (9) and the flange (4), and the disk portion (7) is fixed to the hub (5) by shrink-fitting with the upper end part (3) and the center hole (6).
