    摘要： A plurality of handheld or "mobile" information terminals (10a - 10n) send forth position information detected periodically toward an information delivery server (50); the information delivery server (50) comprises a position management unit (50-4) for generating image data used to compose for visual display certain users belonging to the same group onto the same land map image screen, a situation/history management unit (50-7) for arithmetically processing the user's distribution in units of target facilities and then generating information indicative of such distribution, an image management unit (50-9) for storing therein more than one photographic image as sent from mobile information terminal(s) in units of users or alternatively in units of groups and then transferring the stored image toward a target or "destination" mobile information terminal, and a route search management unit (50-6) for searching for a recommendable route in view of the degree of congestion and/or popularity as calculated at the situation/history management unit (50-7). In a multimedia information delivery system, perform provision of information services by recognizing the position of a user and then utilizing the user position thus recognized.

    摘要： Disclosed is a communication system usable as a radio facsimile system that can transmit/receive information using the dedicated protocol independently of the radio wave status, as well as improve the transmission efficiency by restarting the subject communication even when it is interrupted and restarting the communication at the data just after the normally transmitted data. A communication controller (2) relays the communications between radio facsimile (1-1,...,1-n) and general facsimile (3-1,...,3-m), and changes protocols appropriately to the subject communication to reduce interruptions. In addition, when the subject communication is interrupted, the communication system can cope with it to continue the communication with means for re-dialing automatically at fixed intervals, means for adding the communication discrimination information for each communication, and means for notifying the communication discrimination information and the position information of the received data just before the interruption.

    摘要： An image signal processing apparatus to realize signal processing system and apparatus constitution, where an image signal inputted using a photoelectric conversion element such as a CCD or a contact type image sensor is obtained in circuit constitution of small scale with high picture quality. In order to solve the problems, data width of a signal referred to in a shading corrector, an MTF corrector and an error diffusion circuit is made b + f + j ≦ 8 per one pixel. Or error component commonly possessed by plural pixels (N pixels) in the error diffusion circuit is made b + f + j' ≦ 8 , data width per one pixel being made j' = j/N . Image signal processing is realized in this constitution, thereby data width of a signal referred to in respective signal processings is reduced, and an image signal satisfying accuracy of signal processing sufficiently and having high picture quality can be obtained. For example, when a circuit is constituted by LSI, the memory section can be easily mounted on the same LSI. A memory required in the image signal processing can be made 8 bits per one pixel and a cheap memory constitution can be utilized.
