    摘要: The invention provides a lateral pushing type push-button switch which is small and thin, and in which a movable-contact depressing stroke that is longer than that in the prior art can be ensured without increasing the height of the switch. In the lateral pushing type push-button switch of the invention, a pair of guiding portions (8) against which an actuating portion (9b) that is projected from a pressing portion (9a) of an operating member (9) into a housing (1) is buttable are disposed in a cover (7) which is attached to an upper portion of the housing (1). The switch has a second actuating member (10) which is formed in continuously with a peripheral portion (10a) that is accommodated in a peripheral side portion of the housing (1), and which is projected into the housing (1) to be opposed to the actuating portion (9b). When the operating member (9) is pressed in a lateral direction, the actuating portion (9b) and the second actuating member (10) are downward displaced to depress movable contacts (5, 6) to be contacted with stationary contacts (2a, 3a, 4a).

    摘要: The invention provides a two-step push-on switch in which the operation stroke of an upper movable contact is ensured, and particularly the width of the switch is reduced while the durability of the upper movable contact is improved, the number of parts is reduced, and the operation sense is improved. Dome-like movable contacts 7, 6 are placed in two or upper and lower stages in an invertible manner in a recess 5 of an insulative body 4 having a plurality of stationary contacts 1, 2, 3, and the upper movable contact 7 is formed into an oval shape. The movable contacts 7, 6 are fixed in an invertible manner to the body 4 respectively by adhesive sheets 9, 8 each of which is bonded from a side of the upper face of corresponding one of the movable contacts. A through hole 8a is formed in a central area of the adhesive sheet 8 which fixes the lower movable contact 6 to the body 4. A downward projection 7a is disposed in a central area of the upper movable contact 7, and the upper face of a top portion of the lower movable contact 6 is exposed through the through hole 8a of the adhesive sheet 8, thereby enabling the upper face to be contacted with the projection 7a of the upper movable contact 7.

    摘要: The invention provides a two-step push-on switch in which first and second switches are sequentially turned ON as a result of a depressing operation, and a movable contact plate configured by a metal plate spring is fixed by an adhesive tape onto a circuit board without deteriorating the operation characteristics of the movable contact plate. A spacer 20 is placed around the movable contact plate 1 on the circuit board 8 , and a continuous or discontinuous tape-sticking face 21 which is lower in level than the top of a center plate portion 3 and higher than a peripheral plate portion 2 is formed by the spacer 20 around the movable contact plate 1 , thereby preventing the adhesive tape 9 or 19 from sticking to the peripheral plate portion 2 . In the adhesive tape 19 , nonadhesive portions 27, 27 are formed in places opposing to parts of the peripheral plate portion 2 of the movable contact plate 1 excluding at least the connecting portions with the connecting plate portions 4, 4 , respectively. Even when the adhesive tape 19 makes contact with the peripheral plate portion 2 during the process of turning ON the first switch, the adhesive tape 19 is prevented from sticking to the peripheral plate portion 2.
