摘要:
Embodiments of the present invention provide a beam identifier obtaining method and apparatus, a device, and a system, and relate to the field of communications technologies. The method includes: determining, by a base station, a signal corresponding to a beam identifier; sending, by the base station, the signal by using a beam corresponding to the beam identifier, so that user equipment detecting the signal obtains the beam identifier according to the signal; and when receiving the beam identifier fed back by the user equipment, communicating, by the base station, with the user equipment by using the beam corresponding to the beam identifier. In the present invention, a base station determines a signal corresponding to a beam identifier, and sends the signal by using a beam corresponding to the beam identifier, so that user equipment detecting the signal can obtain the beam identifier, and feed back the beam identifier to the base station. Therefore, the base station can determine a beam in which the user equipment is currently located, and further communicate with the user equipment by using the beam.

The present invention relates to the field of communications technologies, and in particular, to a signal transmission method and apparatus, so as to resolve a problem that system spectrum utilization efficiency and a system throughput are relatively low due to a signal transmission manner in an LTE system. The signal transmission method provided in embodiments of the present invention includes: determining a modulation type of service data that needs to be transmitted, where the modulation type includes hierarchical modulation and non-hierarchical modulation; modulating, by means of the hierarchical modulation when it is determined that the modulation type is the hierarchical modulation, the service data that needs to be transmitted, and sending a modulated hierarchical modulation signal to UE; and sending modulation configuration information to the UE, where the modulation configuration information includes information used to indicate the modulation type. By using the embodiments of the present invention, the system spectrum utilization efficiency and the system throughput can be greatly improved.

Embodiments of the present invention disclose a method for using a radio interface technology. The method includes: dividing, by a base station, a frequency band of a cell into N frequency ranges, where the N frequency ranges include a common frequency range and a dedicated frequency range; sending, by the base station, information about the N frequency ranges and random access resource information of the cell to a UE; mapping, by the base station, a service bearer DRB of the UE into at least one frequency range of the N frequency ranges; and transmitting, by using a radio interface technology supported by the specified frequency range into which the DRB is mapped, a service carried on the DRB with the UE. A method for using a radio interface technology includes: using, by UE, a common frequency range, and optionally, using, by the UE, a dedicated frequency range to perform wireless network access. The technical solutions in the embodiments of the present invention can flexibly adjust radio resource allocation according to different requirements, thereby improving radio resource utilization.

Embodiments of the present invention provide a data transmission method, a wireless network device, and a communications system. The method includes: sending, by a first wireless network device, at least two channels for common information on a same carrier, where the at least two channels for common information include a first channel for common information and a second channel for common information, the first channel for common information and the second channel for common information are on different subbands of the same carrier, and the common information includes at least one of a synchronization signal, a broadcast signal, or a system message. In this way, common information can be effectively transmitted in a service transmission scenario in which carrier utilization is relatively high.

The present invention is applied to the communications field and provides a method for obtaining a location of UE, and an apparatus. The method includes: sending, by a base station, at least one beam, where each beam includes first beam identity information, the first beam identity information is used to uniquely identify the beam, and the beam is received by UE that is in coverage of the beam; receiving, by the base station, second beam identity information sent by the UE, where the second beam identity information corresponds to the first beam identity information, and the second beam identity information is used to indicate a beam on which the UE resides; and determining, by the base station, a location of the UE according to the second beam identity information sent by the UE. By means of the apparatus and the method of embodiments of the present invention, location information of UE can be obtained in a millimetric wave scenario.

The present invention relates to the field of wireless communications technologies, and in particular, to a terminal, a base station, and sounding reference signal SRS configuration and transmission methods, so as to provide more SRS transmission resources, and meet requirements for uplink channel quality measurement and channel estimation in, for example, a short-delay system and a millimeter-wave system. In an SRS configuration method provided in an embodiment of the present invention, a base station sends configuration information of an SRS subframe to a terminal in a current cell, to instruct the terminal to send, according to the received configuration information, an SRS in the SRS subframe, where the SRS subframe is an uplink subframe, or is a subframe in which a quantity of uplink symbols is not less than a quantity of downlink symbols; and all uplink symbols in the SRS subframe can be used to carry an SRS. Compared with a current LTE system, more transmission resources can be used to transmit an SRS in embodiments of the present invention.
