    摘要: A multiple drive library computer system comprises an I/O bus (122), generally operating under a SCSI protocol. The bus comprises a primary I/O bus (94) and a plurality of secondary I/O busses (96, 98, 100, 102, 104, 106) pick-tailed to said primary bus (94). Further, the system comprises a plurality of storage drives (50, 52, 54, 56, 58, 60) connected to the plurality of secondary I/O busses. A library controller (36) is provided which is connected to the primary I/O bus (94). The controller comprises means to communicate with the storage drives and means to communicate with a host computer (48) via the I/O bus (122).
