A polymerizable composition for optical components of one embodiment of the present invention is a mixture of a first composition including a polyisocyanate compound (A) and a second composition including a polythiol compound (B1) and a thiol group-containing substance (B2), the polymerizable composition further includes the thiol group-containing substance (B2) showing a peak at a position corresponding to a retention time three minutes or more later from a position of a peak of the polythiol compound (B1) in a chromatogram obtained by analyzing the second composition by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) analysis, and the equivalent ratio (A/B1) is 80/100 to 95/100, wherein the equivalent ratio (A/B1) represents a ratio of an equivalent A of the polyisocyanate compound (A) calculated using a molecular weight and a functional group number of the polyisocyanate compound (A) to an equivalent B1 of the polythiol compound (B1) calculated using a molecular weight and a functional group number of the polythiol compound (B1).-
