摘要: The present invention relates to a method for the enzymatic reduction of the oxidized form of nicotine adenine dinucleotide to the reduced form of nicotine adenine dinucleotide and biocatalytic method reduction of the carboxylic acids to aromatic and aliphatic aldehydes using hydrogen as reducing agent. The regioselective reduction of the substrates is carried out in an aqueous environment under a hydrogen or hydrogen containing atmosphere using enzyme preparation with tungsten aldehyde oxidoreductase (AOR) activity with an amino acid sequence of at least 70% identity to the sequence deposited in the Universal Protein database Resource Uniprot under the following gene names for subunits AorA ebA5004, AorB ebA5005 and AorC ebA5007, derived from the bacterium Aromatoleum aromaticum EbN1, or from the genetically modified bacterium A. aromaticum strain SR7 Δpdh, or from the recombinant overexpression system in Aromatoleum evansii containing a plasmid with genes coding at least the AOR enzyme (i.e. aorA, aorB, aorC genes) and potentially the gene encoding chaperone proteins (aorD and aorE).
