Novel N-benzoyl N'-pyridyloxy phenyl ureas are disclosed having the formula: wherein X represents a halogen atom or a nitro, methyl, or trifluoromethyl group; Y represents a halogen or hydrogen atom or a methyl group and Z represents a halogen atom. These compounds are found to have useful insecticidal and antitumor activity. Processes for producing the compounds of the invention are also disclosed, together with pharmaceutical and insecticidal compositions containing the compounds as active ingredients.
