摘要:
The invention relates to a method for the production of molds for casting purposes, and parts of the same made of a granular, fireproof material and a binding agent, particularly shell molds, sand cores, and parts thereof. For this purpose two devices are utilized having parts, onto which a composition is applied before the use thereof, said composition comprising at least one silicon-organic component. The invention further relates to the use of such a composition for the production of molds for casting purposes, and to a corresponding device. The latter is characterized in that it comprises at least one part that is equipped with a silicon-organic layer or coating.

The invention relates to a method for protecting a substrate from damage by electromagnetic radiation and/or particle bombardment, in which a composition comprising particles having a layer lattice structure, in particular hexagonal boron nitride, inorganic particles, which are white or transparent, and an inorganic binding agent is applied as a layer to the substrate and dried. The invention further relates to a layer or coating which can be produced by the method and to substrates comprising such a layer or coating.

The invention relates to the use of a composition comprising a nanoscale powder, a porous ceramic powder, and a solvent to protect a metallic surface against chemical attacks at high temperatures, in particular in reducing and/or carburizing atmosphere, and to a corresponding method. The invention further relates to a system part that comprises a metallic surface that is exposed to a reducing and/or carburizing atmosphere in the operating state, wherein the surface is coated with a porous protective coating that has a specific surface area of at least 20 m 2 /g.

The invention relates to novel mixed metal oxides of formula AXO3 and mixtures of such mixed metal oxides. The particle size of the inventive substances preferably lies in the nanoscale range, i.e. way down in the sub-µm range. The novel compounds can be used particularly for detecting gases, especially non-combustible gases such as CO2.
