摘要： A process for the purification of fluoromethyl hexafluoroisopropyl ether which involves contacting a crude composition fluoromethyl hexafluoroisopropyl ether and hexafluoroisopropyl alcohol with a modifier to modify the vapour pressure of the ether and/or the alcohol. The difference in vapour pressure of the ether and the alcohol increases relative to the difference in vapour pressure of the ether and alcohol in the absence of the modifier and enables separation of the ether from the alcohol. The modifier suitably is ammonia and/or an amine.
