摘要: An apparatus for controlling the amount of delivery in a wrapping material feed system, including a rotation drive means for rotating a bobbin with a wrapping material wound thereon; a winding diameter detecting means for detecting a winding diameter of the wrapping material; an adjusting means for changing torque and brake forces of the bobbin to adjust the amount of delivery of the wrapping material, and a control means for controlling the adjusting means. The control means has a memory section which stores optimum torque and brake forces for winding diameters of the wrapping material as well as increment and decrement patterns of torque and brake forces for various operation modes of the wrapping material feed system, and upon receipt of a signal from the winding diameter detecting means the control means provides a signal to the adjusting means in accordance with the contents of the memory section.

摘要: An apparatus has first and second loading means (2, 3, 6, 7, 9, 13, 15), and first and second rolls (R) each obtained by winding a strip-like material (A) are loaded on the first and second loading means (2,3,6,7,9-13,15). A detection means (27) detects an end indication tape (C) adhered to a trailing end portion of the strip-like material (A) of the roll (R). A cutting/unrolling means (39) automatically unrolls the strip-like material (A) from the roll (R), and cuts the leading and trailing end portions of the strip-like material (A) to form the leading and trailing ends. The unrolled strip-like material (A) is guided along a predetermined path by a guide means (121). A joining station (122) is arranged midway along the guide path. One strip-like material (A) is fed through the joining station (122) by a feeding means (137, 138), and the leading end portion of the other strip-like material (A) is stopped and stands by at the joining station (122). When the trailing end of one strip-like material (A) passes through the joining station (122), the leading end of the other standby strip-like material (A) is joined to the trailing end of the one strip-like material (A) by a joining means (170). A portion of the fed strip-like material (A) is accumulated by a dancer roller means (146), and is fed during the joining operation, so that feeding of the strip-like materials (A) is not interrupted.
