    摘要: The present invention aims at providing a method for preparing dermonecrotic toxin, an improved toxoid of dermonecrotic toxin produced by Bordetella and a toxoid mixture comprising said improved toxoid of dermonecrotic toxin produced by Bordetella and a toxoid of dermonecrotic toxin produced by Pasteurella .
    There is provided a method for partially purifying dermonecrotic toxin which comprises bringing a dermonecrotic toxin-containing solution into contact with a chromatographic gel sulfated by direct sulfation or a chromatographic gel to which a sulfated molecule is covalently bonded to thereby make the dermonecrotic toxin adsorbed on the gel, and eluting the adsorbed dermonecrotic toxin from the gel. There is also provided a toxoid obtained from dermonecrotic toxin produced by Bordetella , said dermonecrotic toxin being prepared by the above method for partially purifying dermonecrotic toxin, and a toxoid mixture prepared by mixing said toxoid and a toxoid of dermonecrotic toxin produced by toxigenic Pasteurella , said toxoid mixture being safe and effective for preventing the atrophic rhinitis in pigs.

    摘要: The invention aims at providing a process for preparing a necrotoxin, an improved toxoid of a necrotoxin produced by a bordetella, and a toxoid mixture comprising the improved toxoid and a toxoid of a necrotoxin produced by a pasteurella. The invention provides a method of partially purifying a necrotoxin by bringing a necrotoxin-containing solution into contact with either a chromatographic carrier gel sulfated by direct sulfation or a chromatographic carrier gel covalently bonded to a sulfated molecule to thereby make the necrotoxin adsorbed on the gel, followed by the elution thereof from the gel. Also provided are a toxoid derived from the necrotoxin produced by a bordetella and partially purified by the above purification method and a toxoid mixture which comprises the above toxoid and a toxoid derived from a necrotoxin produced by a toxigenic pasteurella and is safe for swine and efficacious in preventing atrophic rhinitis.
