摘要: A scroll compressor includes a fixed scroll member fixed to a housing and a movable scroll member engaging the fixed scroll member. Each scroll member has a base plate and a spiral wall. A compression chamber between the fixed and movable scroll members reduces in volume by orbiting the movable scroll member, thus compressing gas. A back pressure chamber is defined in the housing on a back surface side of the movable scroll base plate between the movable scroll member and the a fixed wall of the housing. An introducing passage interconnects the back pressure chamber and a relatively high pressure region. A seal member on one of the movable scroll member and the fixed wall seals the back pressure chamber as being slidable on the other. The seal member includes a portion for lowering sealing performance, which interconnects the back pressure chamber and a relatively low pressure region.

The first seal member has a plurality of first groove portions (34a-d) which connect the back-pressure region to the suction-pressure region. The shortest distance along a circumference of the first seal member between any two of the first groove portions which are the remotest from each other is set at not less than one-third of a circumferential length of the first seal member.

摘要: The electrically driven swash plate compressor consists of an electric motor (21) in the motor chamber (15) and a swash plate (22) with the stationary cylinder block (13) in the crank chamber (16). The swash plate is rotated by the drive shaft (17), whereby the pistons (26,27) are reciprocated in the cylinder block (13). The refrigerant is drawn from the intake port (31A) to the suction chamber (31) and flows into the compression chamber (13E) through port (35A) undergoing compression by the movement of piston (26). The refrigerant is then discharged into the intermediate pressure chamber (32) through port (35B) and then partly discharged into the discharge chamber (33) and partly bypassed into the crank chamber (16) through the communication passage (38). From there the refrigerant is circulated into the motor chamber (16) for cooling of the electric motor (21). Additionally, the cooling effect prevents a deterioration of the state of the lubricating oil in the bearings (18B,23), the pistons (26,27) and their shoes (28,29).

摘要: In a motor compressor, a housing forms a fitting surface at an outer peripheral surface of the housing and a plurality of insertion holes extending through the housing at the fitting surface. A compression mechanism is accommodated in the housing. An electric motor is accommodated in the housing for driving the compression mechanism. A plurality of terminal pins transmits electric current to the electric motor. A terminal substrate is fastened to the housing by a bolt so as to be fixed to the fitting surface and forms a plurality of holes. The terminal pin is inserted into each hole of the terminal substrate while being fixedly supported on the terminal substrate so as to be insulative and airtight. The insertion holes correspond to the holes. The gasket is interposed between the fitting surface and the terminal substrate, while each terminal pin is inserted into the corresponding insertion holes.

摘要: A scroll-type fluid machine includes a mechanism for driving a movable scroll relative to a fixed scroll. The mechanism includes a drive shaft rotatable on a first axis, an eccentric pin and a bearing. The eccentric pin revolves around the first axis with the rotation of the drive shaft and has an outer peripheral surface centered on a second axis that is parallel to and eccentric to the first axis. The bearing is mounted to the movable scroll and has an inner peripheral surface centered on a third axis that is parallel to and eccentric to the first and second axes. The inner peripheral surface is in contact with the outer peripheral surface of the eccentric pin. Pressing force is applied to the bearing from the eccentric pin due to the arrangement of the first, second and third axes so as to press the movable scroll to the fixed scroll.
