Disclosed is a process for continuously mixing two liquid components, one of said liquid components being a two-liquid curing type resin, which process comprises continuously supplying one liquid component under stirring into a mixing container (10) and pouring the other liquid component into said container by pushing open a needle (32) forcibly provided to a check valve (30), wherein said needle (32) is pushed open with a non-curing liquid, and thereafter a curing liquid is poured into said mixing container. According to the present invention, when, for example, a polyamide acid and a curing agent are caused to mix and react with each other, a transparent polyimide mixed uniformly is obtained and high quality molded articles of polyimide are provided therefrom.

The present invention discloses a stirring-type mixer comprising a cylindrical container (10), a rotor (22) housed in the cylindrical container and stirring blades (18,24) attached to either of the cylindrical container or the rotor or the both, for stirring and mixing a plurality of fluid materials of different kinds fed into the aforementioned cylindrical container, while said cylindrical container and the rotor are rotated relatively, wherein a cooling means (32,36) is provided inside the aforementioned rotor and fluid materials are cooled thereby in the cylindrical container. The mixer has the capability of releasing the heat of reaction and Joule's heat out thereof and ensures against thermal deformation of the liquid material as well as shortening of its pot life.

According to the invention, a synthetic resin film is obtained without creasing in the process of drying, cooling or the like of the film or lifting of the film off the surface of the conveyor belt (14) etc. and a film of superior quality can be provided without fail, and also since both longitudinal end portions of the film obtained need not be trimmed off and discarded, the film manufacturing yield is improved and the manufacturing cost is reduced substantially.
