A method for manufacturing an imprint mold, including a winding step to wind a film mold onto a cylinder transfer roll, the film mold having a resin layer, the resin layer having a base pattern including a reverse pattern of a fine concave-convex pattern and the film mold being wound so as to form a clearance having no base pattern at a butting portion of both ends of the film mold; a resin filling step to fill a resin composition in the clearance; and a pattern forming step to form an additional pattern including a reverse pattern of a transfer pattern on the resin composition by pressing the transfer pattern provided on a pattern adding mold against the resin composition; wherein the resin composition is filled so as to form a protruding portion of the resin composition at a surface of the resin layer by allowing the resin composition to protrude from the clearance before the pattern adding mold is pressed against the resin composition or when the pattern adding mold is pressed against the resin composition, is provided.

The cavities are made inside at least one surface portion of the support surface and the surface portion, essentially reproducing the shape and sizes of at least one of the decorations.
