Abstract: An evaluation method of a coating color is a method of evaluating a coating color of a coating material containing a color pigment and an effect pigment, the method including: measuring a spectral reflectance of a coating film of the coating material; and calculating C*/L*, which is a ratio of chroma C* to lightness L* in the L*C*h color space, from the spectral reflectance.
