摘要: A method for treating ship ballast water, comprising adding, to ship ballast water, hydrogen peroxide or a hydrogen peroxide generating compound in such an amount that gives a hydrogen peroxide concentration of 10 to 500 mg/L and at least one member selected from a ferrous ion or a ferrous ion supply compound in such an amount that gives ferrous ion concentration of 0.1 to 400 mg/L, catalase in such an amount that gives a catalase concentration of 0.5 to 2500 units/L, and iodine or an iodine supply compound in such an amount that gives an iodine concentration of 0.1 to 100 mg/L, thereby exterminating organisms in the ballast water.
