    摘要: The invention relates to a piston for an internal combustion engine with an annular cooling channel that consists of a left and a right cooling channel half and that comprises a first and a second opening. Cooling oil is feed as a free oil jet to the first opening by means of a coolant nozzle, so that it can be fed to the cooling channel and discharged through the second opening. A rib-shaped element extends in a radial direction of the bottom surface of the cooling channel in the area of the inlet opening. The position of said rib-shaped element with respect to the center of the inlet opening depends on the orientation of the coolant nozzle in such a manner that the flow of coolant is fed to the left and right cooling channel half in equal portions.
