    摘要: A wet cylinder liner for internal combustion engines may include a cylindrical body composed of a ferrous alloy having a circumferential outer surface. The cylindrical body may include a first layer and a second layer disposed sequentially on the outer surface. The first layer may include at least one of at least one silicon and at least one two-component epoxy adhesive. The second layer may include a silane-elastomer compound. The silane-elastomer compound may include nanoparticles of silicon oxide and an adhesion modifier additive. The second layer may be configured as an interface between a cooling fluid and the first layer, as well as to resist erosion by cavitation. The first layer may facilitate an interface for resistance at high temperatures.

    摘要: Devices for producing cylinder crankcases (22) using the low-pressure casting or gravity casting method are already known, comprising an outer casting mould (10) having mould parts (12, 14, 16, 18) which in the assembled state form a mould cavity (20) that depicts for casting purposes an outer contour of the cylinder crankcase (22), a dosing furnace (28) which contains liquid metal, and at least one section (30) which is arranged geodetically below the mould cavity (20) and via which the dosing furnace (28) can be fluidically connected to the mould cavity (20). However, the cylinder crankcases produced by the known devices often do not have sufficient strength in the region of the bosses or the cylinder head. It is therefore proposed that each section (30) is connected to a sprue bush (34) which projects into a region of the mould cavity (20) that forms a cylinder space (24) of the cylinder crankcase (22). This improves the filling and allows replenishment of high-mass sections of the cylinder crankcase.

    摘要: In the manufacture of a physical quantity detector, such as a pressure sensor and a load sensor, comprising a cylindrical part (2) of which one end is closed with a strain generating part (3) and a sensor part (4) formed on the strain generating part, the cylindrical part mentioned above is produced by melting an alloying material having a composition capable of yielding an amorphous alloy, injecting the resultant molten alloy into a metal mold (10, 10a), and cooling the molten alloy in the metal mold to confer amorphousness on the alloy. The metal mold is composed of a split mold having at least two split parts (11, 11a, 12, 12a) for forming a cavity (14) and an insert pin (19) to be inserted into the cavity so as to define the inner configuration of the cylindrical part, or further an insert core (16) to be inserted into the mold so as to form the surface of the cavity corresponding to the surface of the strain generating part. In another embodiment, the cavity is formed so that the parting face of the mold corresponds to the surface of the strain generating part.
