The ball is displaced based on the pressure difference between the first pressure chamber (55) and the second pressure chamber (56). The displacement control valve includes a drive force transmission body, a pressure sensitive chamber, an internal passage, and a valve body. The valve body includes an annular seal which is contactable with a valve seat surface facing toward the first valve body. The drive force transmission body includes a drive rod and a valve body structure having a shaft passage and forming the first valve body. The drive rod is fitted to the shaft passage and coupled to the valve body structure so as to form a gap passage between an outer surface of the drive rod and a wall surface of the shaft passage. The internal passage includes a recess arranged radially inward from the annular seal, the shaft passage, and the gap passage. The gap passage is in direct communication with the recess.

    摘要: A control valve of a variable displacement compressor is disclosed. The control valve includes a valve housing, a valve body, a valve opening spring, an electromagnetic actuator, and an urging plate. The valve housing has a valve chamber that forms a part of a supply passage. The valve body can selectively contact and separate from a valve seat in the valve chamber. The valve opening spring urges the valve body away from the valve seat. The electromagnetic actuator changes electromagnetic urging force acting on the movable iron core through control of externally supplied current. In a state where the electromagnetic actuator is not energized and the valve body is held at a position separated from the valve seat by the urging force of the valve opening spring, the urging plate deforms in such a manner as to urge the valve body toward the valve seat when the temperature of the urging plate reaches a predetermined temperature. The urging force of the urging plate when the temperature reaches the predetermined temperature is set to be greater than the urging force of the valve opening spring in a state where the electromagnetic actuator is not energized.

    摘要: A control valve (40) is provided to be mainly used in a clutch-less compressor of the type in which displacement of the compressor is varied depending on the inclination of a drive plate (17) which varies depending on the crank pressure. The control valve (40) includes biasing means (47,52) that applies force to a valve body (46), a force transferring member (65) that urges the valve body (46) to forcibly open the valve against the force of the biasing means (47,52) and the pressure difference between a crank chamber (3) and a suction chamber (8) of the compressor, and a solenoid assembly (60) to actuate the force transferring member (65). The valve remains closed when no electric current is supplied to the solenoid assembly (60), regardless of the crank pressure or the suction pressure. This facilitates minimum displacement operation of the compressor for a desired period of time and therefore makes the valve suitable for a clutch-less type compressor that is directly connected to an engine with a belt and/or a pulley.
