摘要: This invention relates to a servo system for operating an exoskeleton adapted to encircle an object of interest and for supplying a force thereon. A servomotor is coupled to a power source and operates the position of the exoskeleton and thus the force exerted by the exoskeleton on the object of interest. A measuring unit measures a raw driving current signal I raw suplied by the power source to drive the servomotor. A low pass filter applies a low pass frequency filtering on the measured a filtered current signal I filtered. A processing unit determines an actuated current signal I actuated based on the servomotor setting parameters, where I actuated indicates the contribution to I raw from the servomotor when operating the position of the exoskeleton. The processing unit also determines a driving force current signal I force indication the force exerted by the exoskeleton on the object of interest, where I force is proportional to the difference between I filtered and I actuated.

摘要: This invention relates to a system (100) for adaptively driving a coloured liquid crystal display (102) displaying a sequence of images. The system (100) comprises driving electronics (106) for supplying a driving voltage for each pixel in the display (102), a frame memory (116) for storing a first image of the sequence of images, which first image is presently displayed on said display (102). In addition, the system (100) comprises a look-up table (110) for generating a pre-write signal (108) for the driving electronics (106) based on the first image in the frame memory (116) and a subsequent image to be displayed on the display (102).

摘要: In an optical scanning device for scanning both a high-density, HD, record carrier (38) and a low-density, LD, record carrier (18), a two-wavelength diode laser (50) is used for generating the HD scanning beam and the LD scanning beam. By arranging a composite diffraction element (60) close to the diode laser (50), which element has a first diffraction structure (63), for combining the HD beam and the LD beam, and a second diffraction structure (64), which acts as a lens for either the LD beam or the HD beam only, a compact device is obtained, which is suitable for writing the LD information layer (40).

摘要: An optical scanning device (1) for scanning an information layer (2) includes a radiation source (6) for supplying a radiation beam (14), a lens system (7) having an optical axis (OO'), and a detection system (8) including: (i) an astigmatism generating element (9) for generating a first amount of astigmatism (W1) represented by a vector (Wo,1, υ1), so as to transform the radiation beam to a first astigmatic radiation beam (29); (ii) an astigmatism correcting element (27) for generating a second amount of astigmatism (W2) represented by a vector (Wo,2, υ2), so as to transform the first astigmatic radiation beam to a second astigmatic radiation beam (30) having a third amount of astigmatism (W3) represented by a vector (Wo,3, υ3), and (iii) a detector (28) for transforming the second astigmatic radiation beam to an electrical signal. According to the invention, W3 is adapted to the detector and that Wo,2 and υ2 comply substantially with the following equation: (Wo,1, 2υ1)+(Wo,2, 2υ2)=(Wo,3, 2υ3).
