    摘要: Provided is an oral care assembly (10) comprising an oral care device (12) for inserting into a subject's oral cavity. The oral care assembly comprises at least one powered element (16) adapted to inactivate microorganisms and/or viruses. The oral care assembly includes a control arrangement (18) for controlling the at least one powered element. The control arrangement is configurable to control the at least one powered element to operate in a first mode and a second mode. In the first mode, the at least one powered element is controlled by the control arrangement to inactivate microorganisms and/or viruses within the oral cavity when the oral care device is inserted into the oral cavity. In the second mode, the at least one powered element is controlled by the control arrangement to inactivate microorganisms and/or viruses on the oral care device when the oral care device is not inserted into the subject's oral cavity. Further provided is a method of operating the oral care assembly.

    摘要: The invention provides a dental device for providing oral cleaning. The dental device comprises a mouthpiece for receiving a subject's teeth. The mouthpiece comprises a brushing portion, for receiving a first set of the subject's teeth, the brushing portion comprising a plurality of brushing elements for providing oral cleaning. Additionally, the mouthpiece comprises a light treatment portion, for receiving a second set of the subject's teeth, the light treatment portion comprising a light emitter for providing light treatment. The brushing portion and the light treatment portion are arranged such that, in use, the brushing elements are arranged outside of an optical path between the light emitter and the second set of the subject's teeth.
