摘要: A system is provided for sterilizing an actuation surface which is for contact by a user to implement an actuation. A cover part includes the actuation surface and is for transferring actuation to a base. The cover part comprises a waveguide which is transparent to sterilizing light so that sterilizing light can be transmitted from a sterilizing light source to the actuation surface. The system has a first portion which is removable from the base for replacement and includes and least the cover part. A second portion is intended for continued use when the first portion is replaced.

摘要: A wrinkle tissue preparation method is for preparing wrinkle tissue for a light-based wrinkle tissue treatment method. The preparation involves increasing the amount of target particles in the wrinkle tissue. In an overall wrinkle treatment method, these target particles are then ablated by a subsequent light-based wrinkle tissue treatment method. The preparation stage improves the effectiveness of the light-based treatment for performing wrinkle reduction.

摘要: A system is provided for sterilizing an actuation surface which is for contact by a user to implement an actuation. A light source provides sterilizing light to the actuation surface. An energy harvesting system is used to harvest energy from the movement caused by the actuation. This energy is stored and is used to power the controller and light source.

摘要: In a system (1) comprising a radiation body (10) configured to receive radiation that at least comprises UV radiation (22), at least one area (12) of a radiation exit window (11) of the radiation body (10) is prevented from receiving the UV radiation (22) at an intensity that is equal to or higher than a disinfecting minimum intensity. In order to avoid that a health risk arises from having the at least one insufficiently irradiated area (12), the radiation exit window (11) is provided with an exterior surface structure that is configured to prevent contact between a body part (5) of a human being or higher animal and the radiation exit window (11) at the position of the at least one insufficiently irradiated area (12) when the human being or higher animal touches the radiation exit window (11) through the body part (5).

摘要: The invention provides a light output system for delivering light to a region of interest, for providing at least a minimum light intensity to all of the region of interest. The system has more light sources of a particular kind than are needed to reach the minimum light intensity (to all of the region of interest), and they are operated with a duty cycle. The duty cycle ratio is reduced by a factor which is greater than the factor by which the number of light sources in increased above the minimum number, so that energy savings are obtained as well as an increased lifetime of the system.

摘要: In a system (1) comprising a radiation body (10), a radiation source (20) configured to emit radiation (21) at least comprising UV radiation, a detector (30) configured to detect an internal radiation intensity in the radiation body (10), and a controller arrangement (40), the controller arrangement (40) is configured to apply a safety algorithm after occurrence of a disturbance incident caused by an object (2) contacting a radiation exit window (11) of the radiation body (10). The safety algorithm involves setting an evaluation state of the radiation source (20) during evaluation periods separated by evaluation intervals while otherwise setting an adapted state of the radiation source (20), and determining a value of the internal radiation intensity during the evaluation periods in order to assess whether it is safe to restore the normal state of the radiation source (20).

摘要: A system is provided for disinfecting an actuation surface which is for contact by a user to implement an actuation. The system comprises a light guide, a light source arrangement for delivering UV disinfection light and detection light into the light guide at a light input surface of the light guide and a detector for detecting light at a light detection surface of the light guide, for detecting at least touching of the actuation surface. The light source arrangement faces the detector along a primary optical path but the intensity of the light output in the direction of the detector is reduced. This improves the sensitivity for detecting a touch event.

摘要: A system (1) that comprises a radiation body (10) comprising an exit radiation window (11) to be disinfected under the influence of UV radiation (23) is equipped with a radiation arrangement (20) and a controller arrangement (40). The radiation arrangement (20) comprises at least one UV radiation source (21, 22) configured to emit UV radiation (23) and at least one color radiation source (24, 25) configured to emit visible light (26) of at least one color, and the controller arrangement (40) serves to control operation of both the at least one UV radiation source (21, 22) and the at least one color radiation source (24, 25). When the system (1) is also equipped with a detector arrangement (30), it is possible to detect touch of a relatively large object (5) on the radiation exit window (11) and to reduce intensity of the UV radiation (23) to a safe level.

摘要: A system (1) comprises a radiation body (10), a radiation arrangement (20) configured to provide radiation at least comprising UV radiation (25) to the radiation body (10), a detector arrangement (30) configured to detect an internal radiation intensity of radiation in the radiation body (10) at at least one detector position, and a controller arrangement (40) for applying a controller algorithm configured to set a state of UV radiation sources (21, 22) of the radiation arrangement (20) in dependence on input from the detector arrangement (30). In particular, when the input from the detector arrangement (30) represents a change of the internal radiation intensity that is qualified as a disturbance incident at the at least one detector position, actions of identifying at least one involved UV radiation source (21, 22) and setting an adapted state of the at least one involved UV radiation source (21, 22) are performed.
