摘要： A manufacture method of briquette for use as metal stock is provided which increases the efficiency of drying porous masses so as to shorten a drying time, and which provides a simplified constitution for reducing an installation area of a system and for reducing the running cost and initial cost of the system. The porous masses are formed by compression molding a recyclable material containing metallic powder. The compression molded porous masses are fed into a tubular member, into which hot air is blown for drying the porous masses.

摘要： A method for producing a briquette for use as a metal raw material , which comprises subjecting a material containing a metal powder for recycling to compression molding to prepare a porous material, and charging the resultant porous material into a tubular member and blowing a hot air into the tubular member, to thereby dry the porous material. The above method improves the drying efficiency for the porous material, and simplifies the constitution of an apparatus to be used and allows the reduction of the area required for the installment of the apparatus, while shortening the time for drying, which results in allowing the lowering of the running and initial costs for the production of a briquette.
