    摘要: A method for sorting objects, preferably tuberous roots, provides for feeding the objects one by one in a single row to a control zone and determining the minimum number of supporting elements of a conveyor section on which the object being analysed is projected orthogonally. The number of supporting elements gives the possibility of removing the object by removing the supporting elements forming that section within the addressing area. The addressing area is established depending on the sorting coefficient which is determined by means of measuring the current value of the sorting coefficient and comparing it with the predetermined value established in accordance with the user's requirements, with subsequent distribution of objects to the addresses depending on the comparison results. A device for implementing the method comprises a unit (1) for feeding the objects (2) one by one, a conveyor (3) with supporting elements (4), a device (5) for sending the objects to the addressees, an arrangement (6) for returning the supporting elements to their initial positions, an automatic control system (7) with a device (8) for measuring the current values of the sorting coefficient, actuating mechanisms (9) and a unit (10) for determining the number of supporting elements on which the object is projected orthogonally, and a unit (11) connected to it for determining the displacement of the supporting elements. The installation (8) for measuring the current values of the sorting coefficient is connected to the unit (10) for determining the number of supporting elements. The device provides for different types of the conveyor: linear, longitudinal, horizontally closed rotor type. The supporting elements may be mounted horizontally on one conveyor, on two conveyors oriented in parallel to each other or at an angle so as to provide a V-shaped channel for receiving the object to be analysed. The installation is controlled by an automatic control system based on an algorithm established in accordance with the user's requirements.
