摘要： The present invention provides a method for preparing a blanket containing a silica aerogel, and a blanket prepared by using the same and containing a silica aerogel, the method comprising the steps of: preparing a sol by mixing a water glass solution, a polar organic solvent and a silazane-based surface modifier; preparing a silica gel-substrate composite by dipping a substrate for a blanket into the sol and gellifying the same; and drying the silica gel-substrate composite. A blanket containing a silica aerogel and having high hydrophobicity and excellent physical properties, particularly, low tap density, high porosity and excellent mechanical flexibility can be prepared by using the least amount of a surface modifier without an additional surface modification step through the preparation method.

摘要： The present invention relates to a method for producing an aerogel blanket exhibiting excellent hydrophobicity at high temperatures and an aerogel blanket produced thereby. The present invention uses a mixture of silica sol and a hydrophobic aerogel powder as an aerogel precursor and thus can achieve hydrophobicity in the internal structure as well as on the surface of the aerogel included in the aerogel blanket. Accordingly, the aerogel blanket can attain high hydrophobicity and thus can exhibit excellent hydrophobicity retention ability even in high-temperature applications.

摘要： In the present invention are provided a method for preparing a silica aerogel-containing blanket, and a blanket which includes a silica aerogel and is manufactured using the same, wherein the method includes a step for preparing a reaction solution by reacting a silazane-based surface modification agent with an alcohol-based compound, a step for preparing a silica gel-base material composite by adding a silica precursor, water, and a polar organic solvent to the reaction solution to prepare a silica sol, and then immersing a base material for a blanket in the prepared silica sol to gelate the silica sol, and a step for drying the silica gel-base material composite. Through the preparing method, a silica aerogel-containing blanket may be manufactured without a separate surface modification step and by using a minimal amount of a surface modification agent, wherein the blanket has low thermal conductivity and excellent mechanical flexibility by including a silica aerogel having high hydrophobicity along with excellent physical properties, in particular, high porosity.
